Introduction

Sunshine Bully is a small comic created by Laura Watton, because "life smells sometimes". Life is always an inspiration when producing comics and this one targets the one thing that can either smell good or bad depending on the way its going.

Love is the theme of this little comic, and love can smell particularly bad sometimes especially if it doesn't go right. Our protagonist Amanda learns this the hard way.

If anything it explores the reasons that love sometimes turns sour. Whether one of the protagonists asks too much of the other, or because of a failure of understanding.

Art & Design

This is a small comic, of A6 size, so there's no room for more than a couple of frames per page. That being said though every frame counts and the point of this little story comes across easy enough.

The quality of the art is about average for Laura, things aren't perfect but they are good enough. There are numerous mistakes with anatomy, such as the scale of hands in comparison to faces, and in some cases the hands may look a little strange. The line art however is fairly good though, and is quite varied. The use of screen tone is good also and helps convey emotion and create mood quite well.

Overall it's a short comic and it does all it needs to in order to tell the story. The art isn't the finest the creator could bring to these pages but it does the job adequately enough.
